抽签是指学校、项目或年级被确定为达到或超过容量
As Calgary continues to grow and evolve, so does our student population. Meaning some schools may meet or exceed their capacity.

The lottery process was established to ensure fair and equitable access to schools, programs (regular, alternative) or grades, experiencing a student population that is either at capacity or over capacity. This process provides a consistent approach across our system.

The lottery deadline occurs in February each year. For the 2024-25 school year, registrations submitted prior to the lottery deadline of 12 PM (noon) on Feb. 13, 2024, will be included in the lottery draws. All registrations received after noon on Feb. 13, 2024, will be added to the callback list (based on the appropriate priority level) in the order they are received.

Students residing within the walk zone who have a sibling (brother/sister [half or step, not cousins]) that will be attending the same program in the same school; concurrently (occurring or existing simultaneously)
居住在步行区内的学生，其兄弟姐妹（兄弟/姐妹[同父异母或同父异母的兄弟姐妹，不是表兄弟姐妹]）将在同一所学校参加同一项目；同时发生（同时发生或存在）
- Students living outside the walk zone who will have a sibling in the same school at the same time or
居住在步行区外的学生，如果有兄弟姐妹同时在同一所学校就读，或者 - Students living within the walk zone who do not have a sibling in the school
居住在步行区内且在学校没有兄弟姐妹的学生
- All other students living in the designated attendance area
居住在指定出勤区域的所有其他学生
